Upgraded high-pressure fuel pump for direct-injection Saab and Ford EcoBoost engines. Required for Stage 3 and E85 tunes where stock fuel delivery becomes a limiting factor.
Why Upgrade the HPFP?
The stock HPFP on both Saab B207 DI engines and Ford EcoBoost 3.5L/2.7L engines maxes out around 2,200 PSI rail pressure. At higher boost levels — especially on E85 — fuel demand exceeds the stock pump's capacity, causing lean conditions that trigger knock and limp mode.
Our upgraded HPFP delivered up to 2,900 PSI rail pressure, providing a 30% increase in fuel flow. This was the critical supporting mod for anyone running our Stage 3 calibrations.
