AEM UEGO Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge
The AEM UEGO (Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen) wideband gauge is the industry standard for monitoring air/fuel ratio in real time. Unlike the factory narrowband O2 sensors that only read rich or lean, a wideband sensor provides a precise AFR number across the entire range — from dangerously lean (16:1+) to safely rich (10:1) and everywhere in between.
For tuned EcoBoost engines, a wideband AFR gauge is a safety instrument as much as a tuning tool. It provides immediate visual confirmation that the engine is running at the intended AFR under all conditions — idle, cruise, part throttle, and wide-open throttle. A lean spike at high boost that the factory ECM might not catch is immediately visible on the gauge.
The gauge includes a Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband sensor (the most accurate and reliable sensor available), a 52mm digital gauge with programmable display colors, and a 0-5V analog output for feeding AFR data to a datalogger or standalone ECU. The Bosch 4.9 sensor responds faster and reads more accurately than the older 4.2 sensor found in many competing gauges.
