Billet aluminum bypass valve replacement for Saab 9-3 and 9-5 turbo engines. Eliminates the factory diaphragm-style valve that commonly fails at elevated boost pressures.
The stock Saab BPV uses a rubber diaphragm that tears after sustained use above 14 PSI boost. This causes audible compressor surge and a loss of 3-5 PSI of peak boost. Our billet replacement used a brass piston design rated to 30+ PSI — far beyond what any street Saab would produce.
Installation was straightforward: remove the two bolts holding the factory valve, pull it out, and bolt in the new unit with the supplied gasket. No modifications to the turbo inlet pipe required.
